In Vampire Survivors players are tasked with surviving hordes of enemies as long as possible. There are a variety of different enemy types in the game that come in the hordes including special bosses near the end of the waves. To learn more about the boss enemy types consult our Vampire Survivors boss list below.
Blue Venus
To get the Blue Venus boss to appear, so you can defeat it, you need to survive for a total of 25 minutes on the game’s first stage, Mad Forest. When you reach the 25 minute mark this boss will spawn in and make its way towards you.
The Blue Venus boss is a large character model of a plant woman. It has more health than the other enemies you face on the map. Defeat this boss to unlock the Hyper Mad Forest achievement and Hyper mode for the level.
Hag (previously Nesuferit)
To get the Hag boss to appear, so you can defeat it, you need to survive for a total of 25 minutes on the Inlaid Library stage. When you reach the 25 minute mark the Hag boss will spawn in and make its way towards you.
The Hag boss is a large character model of a witch/old woman. It has more health than the other enemies you face on the map. Defeat this boss to unlock the Hyper Inlaid Library achievement and Hyper mode for the level.
Note: Prior to 0.7.2 the boss that appeared on Inlaid Library was Nesuferit. Nesuferit was replaced by the Hag in 0.7.2 and now appears as a normal wave boss at the 20 minute mark in the library.
Sword Guardian
The Sword Guardian is a boss you face on the Dairy Plant stage. This boss appears at the 25 minute mark of the stage. The boss will make its way towards you at this time.
Unlike the lesser enemies, the Sword Guardian boss has more health and is less vulnerable to knockback. Defeat this boss to unlock the Hyper Dairy Plant achievement and the Hyper Dairy Plant mode.
Giant Enemy Crab
The Giant Enemy Crab is a boss you will face on the Gallo Tower stage. This boss appears at the 25 minute mark of the stage. The boss will makes its way towards you at this time.
Unlike the lesser enemies, the Giant Crab boss has more health and is less vulnerable to knockback. Defeat this boss to unlock the Hyper Gallo Tower achievement and the Hyper Gallo Tower mode.
Trinacria
Trinacria is the boss you face on the Cappella Magna stage in Vampire Survivors. This boss is triggered at the 25 minute mark of the level. Defeat this boss to unlock Hyper Mode for Cappella Magna and the Hyper Cappella Magna achievement. This makes the stage harder and can be toggled on/off from the stage selection screen.
The Reaper
The Reaper is the final ‘boss’ you face at the end every stage when you reach 30 minutes. At 30 minutes all of the waves disappear and the hooded reaper called The Reaper appears. While death can be killed using fairly precise builds, you will most likely die to him. If you do defeat death you unlock the character called Mask of the Red Death.
The Ender
As of Patch 0.8.0 you can now fight a The Ender boss on Cappella Magna. This boss fight is triggered by surviving to 30 minutes on Hyper Mode. Once you reach this point you will trigger a legit boss fight against all of the different reapers. Defeat The Ender to score the Great Gospel Relic and revert Capella Magna to normal.
The Director
The final boss in the game is a battle against The Director. This boss is located on The Eudaimonia Machine stage. You have to find all relics in the game before you can fight this boss. When you defeat him you will see credits and the game will be officially beaten. For beating the game you unlock the Greatest Jubilee achievement.
Orochimario (DLC)
The first piece of DLC content contains a new level called Mount Moonspell. This level is home to a number of new additions to the game including a new boss fight. This new boss is a three headed dragon named Orochimario. Orochimario appears at the 25 minute mark of the level. Defeat this boss to unlock Mt. Moonspell hypermode and its achievement.
