How long does IdentoGO take to process fingerprints in Texas? ›

How long does it take to get fingerprint results back from IdentoGO? Your fingerprint card will be processed and sent to the TBI and FBI for reading and reporting. This process will take approximately 7-10 days once IdentoGO by MorphoTrust has received the card.

Do not contact Identogo Systems or the fingerprint site after your fingerprints have been submitted. Processing takes 2-3 weeks. If you do not receive your results in 2-3 weeks, call (855)845-7434 or visit uenroll.identogo.com.

IdentoGO provides a wide range of identity-related services in safe, professional and convenient locations. Our primary service is the secure capture and transmission of electronic fingerprints for employment, certification, licensing and other verification purposes.

The entire process generally takes 15–20 minutes, although you may have to wait beforehand. There is no interview at the biometrics appointment, and the people who take your fingerprints and photo do not have any information about your application, so this is not an appropriate place to ask questions.

Fingerprint results are posted to an individual's CRD record typically within 24-36 business hours after FBI receipt.

FBI Clearances must be completed for all household members 18 years of age and older at approval and again every 60 months.

The USPS office doing your background check should get back to you within a few days, assuming they aren't too swamped with applications. If there are a lot of applicants, though, they may take a few weeks to respond.

IdentoGo is an official enrollment provider for TSA PreCheck. If you're hoping to enroll in TSA Precheck, you can avoid completing the enrollment process at the airport by visiting an IdentoGo enrollment location. You can also renew your TSA PreCheck at these locations.

Fingerprint-based background checks run fingerprint searches against both FBI and state criminal databases to create a complete criminal profile of the applicant.

Fingerprints are used to track records of criminal actions, such as arrests and dispositions, and to compile criminal history reports for job applicants, including applicants for direct access employment under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) National Background Check Program (NBCP).

Fingerprint identification also helps investigators track a criminal's record, their previous arrests, and convictions, to aid in sentencing, probation, parole, and pardoning decisions.

When USPS takes your fingerprint, they'll begin a state or federal background check on you. Depending on your state of residence, there will be a database that the USPS can use to check your criminal history, past employment, and credit history.

Texas Education Agency (TEA) receives the fingerprinting results 5-7 business days after the fingerprint appointment. Applicants for certification residing Out-of-State can use an approved Out-of-State MorphoTrust/Identogo fingerprinting location.

As of July 27, 2022, the cost of fingerprinting with IdentoGO is $38.25.

The FBI fingerprint checks typically take between 24 and 48 hours. If your fingerprints show you have a criminal record, a full report which contains your full criminal history (known as the RAP sheet) will be sent to the USCIS. Your fingerprints will be valid for 15 months from the date of processing by the FBI.
